Sharing a Thank you Card

I just wanted to share with you this thank you card that I made. I had seen a post on one of the groups I belong to, either CricutLovers or cricutcutter, about making cards for our Heros, either Thank You cards for them, or cards so that they have something to send to their loved ones.

My New Logo

I was going to post this when I put her up, and changed the name of my blog, even though I cant change the name in the link. I was Angel Raggedy's Digi scrapping, but I am now Angel Raggedy's Scrapping Place, as I do both digi scrapping as well as scrapping with my Cricut and Paper. The Angel Raggedy in my Logo is my own drawing. I used to paint and draw Raggedi Anns on Everythng I could get my hands on, from rocks (small to large) and frying pans to cake pans...
But I thought that she was cute and just wanted to share.

You Know that you are addicted to scrapping when...

Have you ever gotten an idea in your head that does not let you go to sleep, or one that wakes you up at 3 in the morning or earlier? With and idea in your mind that says You Have to try this now! And no matter how much you try to roll over and go back to sleep, you cannot until you go and try your idea, or complete the project...

Well yesterday I was web hopping on different scrapbooking sites, where I found a post for Purse Cards, there were pictures showing what the gals had done with the .cut file they had gotten. The post even said that the .cut file was right there... but it was not. Sooo me being who I am, Had to try to make my own cut file. The cards were both made using George and Plantin Schoolbook.

I started at 10pm, did not like the first one that I made (the one with the S), well I like how it finaly turned out, but I had to do a LOT of trimming on it because the edges did not match up when I cut it out. But I did not want to waste it because I really liked the paper. So when that one did not turn out right, I went back to my cartridges and my paper stash to try again and again, and about 2 good sheets later, and 15 not so good sheets of paper later, I finally came up with a Purse card that I liked. It is the Pink card with the Jewelz on above. But it was now 4:30 in the morning. So I got the sample done to my liking. So I went to bed.

I woke up at 7:30 thinking that it was more like 11:30. I was glad that I had more day, but wishing that I was still in bed.

Well I hope that you have enjoyed, and Yes I am going to share my cut file. For the first pink one, not the one with the S. Which by the way is chipboard that I cut out, and glittered.

Exploding Box Cut File for Design Studio to Share

Well hello again everyone. I have been quite busy with Lots of things Cricut lately. I did 6 Post Prom party signs for a friend, and I have been working on many other things too.
One of those things was an Explosion box card/mini album using Design Studio. I had seen one made on a Youtube video, and of course forgot to save it so that I could put it together right, but that one was not using the cricut either, just measuring and cutting.

I am still unsure that I like the way the lid fits, but I scored it 1- 1/8 inches in all the way around on one, and 1- 1/4 inches in on another. The first seemed too big and the other seemed too small but no other size.

Design Studio Cut files to Share

Hi Everyone,
I Love my Design Studio, I have no complaints what so ever, it does everything that I want it to. So Far. I waited so long to get it because all I heard was people having problems with it. But so far so good.

I do have a couple cut files to share with you. One is a flower, and the other is a scalloped edge mat/frame put your pic in the center. They are both created using the George Cartridge.

I know there are many many flowers on the different cartridges but none that I could find that worked with what I was trying to create. I saw a "Bouquet of flowers in a pot for Grandma" craft project that I was trying to find the perfect flower for. I will post a picture of my completed project when I get it accomplished.

Design Studio

I am soooo very excited, I have been following some great groups talking about Cricut Expressions, and then Design Studio or SCAL, and I finally broke down and got the DS. Well actually... we got our Taxes back and hubby Spoiled me rotten over the weekend. He bought me quite a few Scrapping things, and the DS was one of them. I have been playing with it much of the weekend. Though really I did not get to start until about 9pm last night and then played with it till 2 in the morning, and it has done Everything that I wanted it to. Yes I did get kind of frustrated with it when it wasnt cutting propperly and had to walk away from it and come back later, but then it wasn't the fault of the Cricut or the program, It had been awhile since I had cleaned the bottom of the blade and it was Quite clogged up with scrap of paper, and as soon as I cleaned that out it started cutting fine again.
I made a BFFL Best Friends For Life Mini album, and I made some scallops, and I welded some words together for some Valentines day cards, and of course and sorry to say but at this time I do not have any pictures to show...
Well the buzzer on the dryer has finally gone off, which means it is time to go and change the loads and then go to bed, so I can get up in the morning for Work.

Yes Valentines day is coming. I have been having some fun creating some new things. I love how this turned out and wanted to share it with you, as well as my little girl. She has grown so fast, now instead of squaking like a duck like she is in the last picture, she plays on her computer, her doing her thing while I do mine. It is hard to believe that she will be in middle school already next year. Time goes by soooo fast.
I love downloading everyone elses goodies, but I also enjoy creating some of my own. I am just learning different ways of doing digital scrapping, but I dont put anything up here unless I like it.
